It looks quite clean and tidy. The mileage is quite high. Any good for a dog car and general tip run car.

Might have another 50,000 miles of life left in it if you are lucky. Lots of people on here really hate this engine. I find they are ok if used as intended for longer trips, else you’ll run into issues with the emissions gubbins after not very long. Clutch packs on the DSG box could be well on their way out by now too, unless they have been replaced already. I don’t think it’ll be suitable for dog walks and tip runs, unless those places are like 20 miles away.

I wouldn't go near it for that usage - lots of potential expense there with that engine and DSG box and all without doing enough mileage to make use of the economy. Go n/a petrol, Japanese if possible.

I do go out quite far for dog walking. But it was the very high mileage that is a worry. It’s had work done but nothing on the engine or gear box. It seems a nice car. I think it’s more like £2k to gain any interest.

It was only local. I saw the car when I came out the pub. My uncle has bought his car. He went for the E400 in the end. I was going to look for something cheap.

I ran one as a private hire taxi. Only up to 100k but at that point it was having gearbox issues the clutch pack was going and it had a whine so decided to move it on.

The DQ200 is a known weak dsg box. From others I know injectors are a problem as well.

If it’s got to that mileage it’s done well so may be worth a punt!

Taxi drivers using these have done considerably higher mileages. I'd say it would have plenty of life left in it.
