Car dealer spiel
Discussion
Received an email this morning and I am wondering who writes the utter tosh in some of these.
This bit in particular is full of it…..
‘and a passenger display, allowing a companion to contextualise the physics-defying performance they are experiencing’.
Anyone willing to share their experiences of ‘over enthusiastic balderdash’ received on a sales pitch?

I've only experienced one proper car dealer experience when using the scrappage scheme to a buy a new Renault for my dear old ma.
The salesman sat back exposing his armpit stains and said 'what can I do you for'. The geezer next to him was on the phone to a granny talking in a tone that a 1 month old puppy would find cloying and patronising.
Another one shouted at her for putting a cushion on the roof of a car in the showroom.
Then she rang back and another salesman 'stole' the sale and there was a shouting match on the day it was picked up.
I'd rather be in a cardboard box than work somewhere like that. Or go into one at all.
And the car was crap.

There's a system on eBay whereby you put in a description and then ask it's A.I to write the text for you, this sounds a lot like the stuff that system comes up withThis bit in particular is full of it…..

Looking at 1.6 Ecoboost Focii and came across this ad. The spiel is an immediate no go for me on this car...

I’ve spotted these 3 lads, proper modern day second hand used car salesmen, who love a bit of bling. His Mate is a bit special too , I saw him once selling a car whilst wearing a pair of Leather Trousers and Snakeskin Shoes , WTF
In all fairness to them at least they are having good go, even if a lot of what they say is a load of old waffle.
Reminds me of the modern day Boyce and Del Boy.
My bet is they actually sell quite a few cars from their YouTube vids.
Estate Agents have toned Fownhope from what they used to be.
But this current one is stretching the point....
"......Properties are delighted to bring to the market this most spacious, brick built beach chalet"
Yes, it's a beach hut. 7'5" x 9'3"
Most spacious? No. There are (slightly) larger ones close by.

I saw one of their ads a while back. Thats seemingly their style. There's a few traders doing it. If nothing else it gains attention over other traders."It's not just a car, it's a way of life."
