BMW X5 E70 40d

Decent SUV. I had one for 4.5 years. Only sold it in early 2022 as it was starting to feel a bit old, I fancied a change and it was not ulez compliant. Good all round family car (I had the 7 seat version). I remapped mine at DMS and it was pretty quick for a 2 tonne truck. Not much went wrong just a couple of random things like washers fluid not working and had to get a new electric parking brake fitted.

You should be fine they're a good option.
……..unless the the plastic timing chain guides break and jam then break the timing chain. As it did on mine 3 days out of warranty. BMW didn’t want to know, just quoted £22k to supply and fit a new engine. In the end it went to a specialist in Cambridgeshire who rebuilt the engine with genuine parts for £8,500.It was a great car until that happened. Better luck with yours.
