Can I ask for a bit of help please?
I'm looking for an automatic, petrol, hatchback, with a lowish floor that would take a big dog with the seats down.
My wife doesn't like driving the Volvo estate we currently have as she thinks it's too big.
It's only a dog car so about 1.5 to 2k.

Thanks.

DOn't dogs love being taken for a walk and not for a drive out in a shed? smile

My dog is very choosy and prefers to be taken to the beach rather than walked on a lead down the lanes, so, I need a car to get him there.
As for it being a shed, I doubt we're as wealthy as someone who can mock a car choice by calling it a shed, we are only poor pensioners.
Thanks for your help, My Lord.
Don't you have some serfs to thrash?

Apologies for the 'shed' comment. It wasn't meant to be a derogatory remark, just more a nod to the shed of the week thread by PH where a shed price limit is £1500 that's all

It depends on the dog's enjoyment of car rides, I think. My 50kg German Shepherd fits in the back of my Mk7 Fiesta. He gets to sit upright and watch the world around him because the boot is tall.

He can JUST squeeze in with his 40kg sister, but they get a bit feisty after 45 minutes or so.
