I quite like the look of the Yaris but the GR arches are just a bit too much.
It’s a bit chavvy overall. The TTRS is a classier car.
Plus I’d imagine the TTRS is a good couple of levels up on quality vs a Yaris.
Unless you’re buying it to run down for ABC roads on a moderate commute, I wouldn’t have one over a TTRS.

No it isn’t.
I agree with Georgey. No-one has bought a Yaris GR to impress anyone. Perhaps the opposite, you'd spend all your time explaining that it isn't a normal Yaris.Yaris seems like it would be much less practical and refined, and I hear they are not much fun for just pottering around (although a TT is hardly the last word in excitement).

No it isn’t. I suppose if you watch The Fast and the Furious and think that those cars would be the height of dignity for friends and relatives to arrive at your grans funeral then no, the Yaris GR is a solid respectable looking car like the Audi TTRS.
I’m all for hotted up cars but the Yaris went beyond normal hot and straight to Fast and Furious absurdity.
The front is kinda acceptable but those rear arches are just utterly s
t to put it bluntly.Go look at say the Escort vs Escort Cosworth to see how wider arches on a 3dr hatchback should be done!
