Best Car History Checker
Discussion
I think everyone one YouTube is sponsored by car vertical!
I did 2 checks last year, 1 car vertical and one from hpi that was considerably cheaper.
Both gave exactly the same info just in a nicer format with car vertical.
The added info I got about checks with the car vertical one was things like:
Check tyres are all over 2mm
Check oil
Make sure water is in the radiator.
For the extra cost if nearly £15 it certainly wasnt worth it.

To be honest Car Vertical is all very new and "trendy" but I don't think it displays the data in an easy/quick way - For example trying to look at ownership changes (and dates) isn't quick and clear on Car Vertical. They've certainly put some effort in marketing but I'm not a fan.
I use "Total Car Check" - It's cheap, easy and does the business....

I have used both vcheck and total car check. Both were good and both rated by AutExpress: https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product-group-tests/...

Can anyone tell me the best checker for getting photos of a cat s car please?
Many people in the trade use MotorCheck https://www.motorcheck.co.uk/?gad_source=1&gcl...
I somehow stumbled upon carsnitch.
Completely free, and will show you data about when ownership was changed etc, and also any pricing history and dates of changes if the car is on sale....
...I recently test drove an e-class, and the dealer wasn't too pleased when I mentioned he had had it up for sale since June! You could see he felt he lost some bargaining power at that stage.....the car was tatty anyway so didn't proceed.
