Audi A4 1.4 TFSI - Car done 20k miles in past 15 months

Hi hope you can help. My first post, hope this is allowed.
I'm all but ready to go ahead with purchasing an audi a4 1.4tfsi 68 plate which has done 69,000 miles.
The deal all seemed fine took the car for a fairly extended test drive. The only thing was the car vibrated a lot when i started it from cold, it went after about 2 minutes and was smooth before i pulled off. The drive was otherwise fine.
The sales person told me it had full service history, but it actually has not had a recent one done. The intervals are as follows:

Is £1,000 worth the risk of a potential bad car to you? If it is then consider buying it.
For me saving £1,000 on what must be a purchase worth 13-15 many times more than that isn’t enough. I’d rather spend more on a well cared for example that doesn’t vibrate when cold.

It's really frustrating I've been looking to change cars for about 6 months, have tried so many cars. Finally was sure this was the one.
Car looks amazing, the interior is perfection but now I know it's just done 20,000 miles in a year I'm almost sure it's been a taxi and that driving has been around town rather than on motorways...
Still tempted to take the risk, there's nothing else out there unless I pay an extra £4k. Will do some more research into the vibration at idle.

20k in a year sounds a bit low for a taxi, it’s only 1600 miles a month. It's really frustrating I've been looking to change cars for about 6 months, have tried so many cars. Finally was sure this was the one.

Pre covid I commuted 40 miles a day which is 800 a month before I did anything with the family. My company cars used to go back on about 95k after 4 years which was pretty much commute and family.
Audi recommend every year or every 10k miles.
Brake fluid every 2 years or 20k
Also unsure if this uses a timing belt or chain, info online seems conflicting.
My experience with used cars is limited as I always leased them through work. Left my job a couple of yesrs ago to become self employed and have bought 3 since then with some mixed experiences so trying not to make any mistakes, would just lease it but can't get the finance yet personally or through my business.
Would the service history put people off buying?? It seems all good apart from the recent.. the first time i sat in the car it was fine but think that was from warm. When i test drove i didn't tell them what time i was coming, think was sat there a while, that's when there was definitely noticeable vibrations for about 2 minutes throughout the cabin - they weren't really loud more subtle and I waited for them to die down before pulling off. The car then drove flawlessly for about 20 mins (round town driving no motorways)

I've just done a search on AutoTrader with the criteria you originally stated and think I know which you're looking at. If I'm right there's plenty at or about the price point you're looking at, even an approved used one at Audi. Obvs I don't know your willingness to travel to view cars but I'd be trusting my instinct on the one you've been looking at and walking away.It's really frustrating I've been looking to change cars for about 6 months, have tried so many cars. There is also the Longlife service regime (variable) which is upto a maximum of 19k miles or 24 months. Looks to me as if this car has been on this servicing regime.Brake fluid every 2 years or 20k
Brake fluid is 3 years for the first change and 2 years thereafter. The schedule is on time, mileage is irrelevant.

Not quite, for the EA211 engines it's 9000 miles between services. Brake fluid is every 2 years - no mileage limit. Brake fluid every 2 years or 20k

The EA211s, so the 1.0, 1.2, 1.4 and 1.5 TFSIs, made after around 2013 all use a belt. The belts last ages, they only need changing at 133,000 miles with no time limit.

It's a massive assumption. G/f's office is 150 mile round trip - which she does a couple of times a week - her annual mileage is about 20k.
Her daughter has a long-ish commute to work which she does 5 days a week - her annual mileage is about 20k.
Neither of them are taxi drivers.
Where was the servicing done - if at a main dealer its highly unlikely to have been a a taxi driver paying those rates !

Of which 104 are weekends
10 or so public holidays
Lets assume 20 days holiday
So about 230 days a year worked
A 30 mile commute each way for 230 day is 13800 miles and then you have social / domestic pleasure miles on top of that.
Many people need a car for work......i am being visited at home tomorrow by one of those people - its a 240 mile round trip for him and he will have a diary full of appointments
