Anyone purchased a car from 'Lurgancot Haulage'

Hi all,
Recently was browsing eBay for a used car for the Mrs. Submitted an enquiry for a car which is priced considerably less than the market value of the lower end for this car. I assumed it was from a private seller but received this email from the seller:
The car is located at Belfast BT3 9LE along with all the documents, and the transaction will be done through Lurgancot Haulage, who will also handle delivery and payment. The delivery is included in the sale price !
The most important thing is that you'll get a 10 days Money Back Guarantee return policy and you have the right to return the car any time at our expense but I am sure you won`t need to use the return policy because the car is exactly as in the pictures.
This transaction is protected by Lurgancot Haulage which is fully responsible for the money once they will be transferred and take the responsibility to refund the full amount if there will be any problems during the deal.
If you wish to buy the vehicle, you`ll have to register on the company website and you will be contacted with details on how to purchase it."
Now a quick Google on 'Lurgancot Haulage' has revealed a few random forums where people have successfully purchased cars from this company, but I am skeptical. I have asked the chap if I can travel to Belfast to view the car - will see what he says but wanted to ask if any phers have ever dealt with this company

Here’s another thing - I have personally sold and know several people who have sold cars and motorbikes to buyers from the ROI. These buyers pay asking price and will get the ferry/fly over to mainland UK for the right deal.
One would therefore assume that if a car was cheap in NI then it’d be getting snapped up by ROI buyers. Why sell it cheap.

I've not been on PH even a year yet, and even I have been here long enough to know not to trust the Irish with my money. The last chap I recall got himself into some bother over a motorhome and three very large fast talking paddy's.
Don't believe a word of anything to do with the cars, the testimonials or the process.

Eh? Not been here even a year and you’re already writing off an entire population as being thieves?! Don't believe a word of anything to do with the cars, the testimonials or the process.
I’ve bought a car from Ireland before and not only was I not scammed, but its condition was truly deserving of the moniker of ‘immaculate’.
There’s dodgy sellers everywhere, you’re certainly no more likely to get done over by an Irish seller as you are from an English seller.

I’ve bought a car from Ireland before and not only was I not scammed, but its condition was truly deserving of the moniker of ‘immaculate’.
There’s dodgy sellers everywhere, you’re certainly no more likely to get done over by an Irish seller as you are from an English seller.
It amazes me how many posts there have been in the last few months questioning what sound like absolute nailed-on scams.
Not necessarily in relation to a niche or PH car either, just for run-of-the-mill stuff. Maybe I’d be a bit taken in too if it was something I’d been on the search for for a while, but from the outside they look so obvious.

Not thieves, scam artists. Not the entire population either, only those who are trying to sell you something. Be that tarmac for your driveway, or a vehicle via a haulage firm.
