Personally I have always wondered about the Business Model of " Pimping Up " high end Motors and the occasional VW Van but then I am far from an expert in that field and the concept doesn't appeal to me in any case .
What I have noticed when passing these Peoples premises near Stony Stratford on an almost daily basis is the glacial stock rotation . One 5 litre Defender which I have actually stopped and walked around has been sat unsold since the start of the Summer and its far from alone . Conscious of not wanting to do any damage to Peoples livelihoods I shall be uncharacteristically guarded in what I say but I have to wonder about that marketplace in the present climate , anyone have any thoughts ?

I thought you were in the market for a Toyota Urban Cruiser.

No I was considering a Hilux for the winter so I could go up and see my old man . Which incidentally is about £55k cheaper than some of these Urban Defenders .scratchchin

Why does everything they sell seem to be black so you can't see the wheels or bodykit in photos anyway?

They used to be ok when they were tarting up old Defenders, now their stuff is more like Khan, ridiculously overpriced and naff.

I genuinely wonder about their survival in the present climate . Thinking back Overfinch were probably amongst the first into this marketplace with the modification of Land Rovers though its my belief theirs were more mechanical than cosmetic and were generally well regarded ( Land Rover Owners please go gently on me if I have that wrong ) and fetched a slight premium over the standard fare on the secondhand market .This " pimping up " for want of a better phrase is a different matter entirely . I never thought at sixty I would be saying " pimping up " biglaugh

I watch their Youtube channel and they seem to be doing well enough. They are certainly not shy of spending the money on new workshops and cars for stock. They also seem to be moving into the US too. Yiannimize is also there now as well. Not sure if they are just renting space or more to it, as I stopped watching his channel a while ago.
