Selling 2 Volvos but what to replace them with

I currently have a 2009 XC90, owned it for about a year and it has been pretty good. I do like it as it does almost everything I want but it is a manual and I prefer an auto and it is at the age and miles (135k) that I’m not sure I would trust to to drive to the Austria which we do once a year (currently go on my wife’s 320d touring but it is a bit small)

I have also just taken an XC70 in payment for some work, high miles at 170k, doesn’t owe me a lot at all, needs a few bits doing but am going to put it in for an MOT and see exactly what it needs. This is also a manual which I’m not a fan of (have a caterham track car if I want to change gear myself)

I am thinking of selling the xc90 and running the xc70 for a couple of months while I do some work to it but then will look at selling, I think together they are worth around £6000 plus I have a small pot of I keep on the side of say £1500. So total around £7500.

Requirements are:

Has to be an estate or SUV

Needs to have a big enough boot to fit a divider for 2 dogs one side and a buggy the other (2 small whippets)

Has to be an automatic

Nothing with the £675 tax

Has to be able to tow

I do about 5000 miles a year

Any suggestions?
