Mini clubman estate v Ford fiesta family.
Discussion
I used into have a 2018 Clubman and my partner has a Fiesta .
The Clubman was surprisingly roomy and the boot though not huge is a good shape and you can use every bit of space.
I have 3 teenage kids and would fit them plus luggage in when we are on holidays no problem.
The Fiesta isn’t too bad but is noticeably narrower .
No contest the Clubbie is much more practical and spacious.

My wife’s Fiesta is fine for us with two grandkids 7 and 11, although for long trips we use my Focus.
My daughter and husband are proper Mini fans, they must have been through the whole range in the past ten years or so and currently have the estate version . I’d say that would be your best choice.

This is quite refreshing. The usual family car buying threads involve two adults, a baby on the way and an OP wetting the bed about a Mondeo being too small for them.
I think either would suffice if you put a roof box on for holiday trips but agree with the post above that a Focus estate would be similar money for loads more space, particularly for two teenagers in the back.

My wife has had a late 2018 Petrol Cooper Clubman for 3 years and absolutely loves it. Whilst I wanted her to get a two door Mini Cooper ‘S’ I appreciate the practically and ride comfort of the Clubman for weekends away.
It’s got a reasonable turn of speed with 135BHP and enjoyable handling. The Countryman when she looked at them was a red line from me as I don’t like the styling or that type of high vehicle.

We've owned both and I'd pick the Clubman over the Fiesta for the same reasons. More refined on long journeys too.
Just bear in mind the rear barn doors need more clearance than a traditional lifting tailgate (and careful not to accidentally press the open button as they do fly open rather than just unlatch)
