How would you value a 2010 renaultsport clio rs200 cup that was used for a year, doing 8,600 miles then parked up in a garage? Mint condition. Mileage genuine based on condition / original tyres / brakes etc.
Long story, owned by lady in armed forces, purchased then parked up due to assignments then civvy work overseas.

Depends how it’s been stored and maintained.
Has it been sat on the road or a weather tight temperature controlled garage / carcoon.
Has it had any maintenance. As zero maintenance makes it worth less than a milley well maintained one in my eyes as it’ll probably need lots to make it good again.
It’s a nice car but not a legendary car. If this was a clio v6 it might be different but it’s not and it’s not old enough to be considered classic yet.

It's been parked up, so needs tyres due to aging of originals, possibly brakes as a bit stuck, plus full service with belts etc.Has it been sat on the road or a weather tight temperature controlled garage / carcoon.

To be fair, it's relatively inexpensive compared to even a dog of a 205 GTI, plus unmolested and never had any paint ...... so I think I'll get work done, use it at weekends and get it serviced annually.
The factory cup (as opposed to cup option pack) cars are pretty rare, Evo 5 gold star.
I'm guessing as more get 'Barryed' and scrapped it might appreciate a bit. I remember looking at cheap integrales, e30 m3's, Sierra cosworths, xr2/3

ask yourself "Will you get a similar opportunity elsewhere?" . If not and it's something you really want then you have to make a decent offer before someone else does.
It's a different matter if you are taking it on as a project to refresh and make a £ on or as a keeper for yourself as they will not make 'em like that anymore.

A decent set of Michelins will be what? £800 off the bat.
I'd want a proper full service, all fluids, filters and belts. There's likely a few other rubber bits that have perished if it's not been stored properly. Another grand if you're paying someone else.

Tyres are only 215/45/17 they came with continentals from the factory and this is still on first set….either Michelin or Conti are £100 a corner.I'd want a proper full service, all fluids, filters and belts. Lads a mechanic so it’s cheap to swap out bits.
Now purchased and brought home.
When you flush the fluids check how soft are your radiator hoses and is there any sign of corrosion or oil etc in the coolant as that would be my main concern, that all that time has allowed the metal to corrode and possibly get iron/aluminium oxide clumps in the radiator blocking it, maybe even take the hoses off and flush it with a garden hose?
Also you could get trouble from old fuel jelling and blocking in the injectors mesh/jets, so fuel flush rather than a top up imo.
