Hi
I put a deposit down on a used Porsche. That was 3 weeks ago… it failed the mot and needed a new part, which remains elusive. I am still keen on the car but there are other options and have a desperate need for wheels from next Tuesday onwards.
There was no agreement when I put down the deposit on sale but certainly expected it to be delivered within a few days.

Should I pull the plug?

As above if you need a car by Tuesday I'd look elsewhere.

Not that it’s material to the value, would you expect a return on the deposit?

Given they can’t provide you with the vehicle I’d expect a full refund. Perhaps mention the need for a vehicle and see if they can give you a loaner?
