Thinking about buying a 2016 AMG GTS. Any experience of this car out there?

Cheers.

Just any observations on what its like to live with. Performance and handling look to be great. Im 6’6” so wonder if I’ll fit?

My brother in law has a GTR and is 6ft 6 and fits fine. It does have the fixed buckets though, not sure if they are any lower than the normal seats.

They're great cars, very underrated and built to compete with Porsche, Aston etc.
The GTS is an awesome car, very long nose which at first feels like driving an oil tanker but you soon get used to it. Steering is light at first (sorted on the C and R) but again you get used to it very quickly. It is quite stiff but then it's a sports car - keep it in comfort setting and it's perfectly comfortable, plus it handles incredibly well but still keeps an element of AMG playfulness - it's not scalpel like a Porsche but instead really puts a smile on your face.
Lots of space for luggage so makes a great sports tourer as well as being more than capable on track should you so wish. Engine is a peach and sounds great.
6'6" you'll def fit. Seat options there are 2 - comfort seats (most common on the GTS) and performance seats which are far more heavily bolstered.
Must have options - Premium pack - gives pan roof, burmester sound, race mode etc.
The interior is far more special feeling than that of Porsche or Audi and really helps make the GT a special place to be.
I only changed as I wanted a soft top so traded in for a GTC else I'd still be in mine now.
If getting a 2015 or an early 16 model then check it's had the driveshaft recall done (early carbon ones were prone to failure) and also watch for trans fluid leaks as this has led to completely new gearboxes. Again only on the early cars. Buy from Mercedes and you'll benefit from a 2 year approved used AMG warranty as standard (worth about 4k)
