Hello,

Doing preliminary checks on a potential new car purchase, its a 2019 VW.
DVLA mot check, vcheck and entering the reg in a meerkat type website return no hits, could there be a valid reason for this?

Maybe car was on a private plate and it takes a week or so to shake out back onto it's original reg?

or pointless posting on here I need to phone the dealer and ask them ?

Put the reg number in here:

https://www.carbaba.co.uk/

(Just put any number in for the mileage)

It will tell you the current reg number if the plate has been changed.

still nothing on vcheck although it is found on the https://www.carbaba.co.uk/ link posted above, thanks for that.

3 owners in 3 years though, no owner kept it over a year. Always makes me paranoid its a lemon with so many ownership changes.

to update this,

yes it previously was on a private plate. That's why my initial searches returned zero hits. It disappeared from sale for 48hrs, only to return this evening.

4 previous owners though, so I'm going with my gut feeling to leave it.
