If you mean a logbook hasn't been issued recently that's because traders fill out the trade part of the logbook and retain it for the new owner.

Just trying to minimise risks of buying something dodgy.
It looks that way, either that or its been parked up.
Generally speaking if parked up I'd assume it had been SORNed so my guess is the dealers had it for a while as its only showing the tax expired in 2021.
Was it MOT'd last year as that may help paint a better picture as mileage will be listed.

If it's on Autotrader you can see the date it was published in the URL for the image when you click into the image. It's reversed so would read 20230802 meaning 2nd Feb 2023 amongst the start of the URL. Just trying to minimise risks of buying something dodgy.

So it was MOT'd in December 21 which was after the tax expired, and quite clearly hasn't been used since then.
I'd assume the 5 miles was a round trip to the mot test centre.
Just ask the dealer why it hadn't been used for a year, as above is could've been a second car and possibly parked up for a while before deciding to sell.
