I've a Volvo 940 Estate which has a decent set of wheels/tyres and a few other mods, to improve the car.
I'm struggling to sell it and wondering about putting the original wheels back on and original radio back in.
Reduce the price and possibly a bigger audience? Have a possible buyer for the wheels but will need new tyres on the original wheels.
Worthwhile?

I doubt the aftermarket wheels are adding anything to the car's value, it depends on whether or not the cost to buy new tyres for the standard wheels makes selling the aftermarket ones worthwhile?

Aftermarket wheels are potentially reducing appeal and value of a 940 Estate.

Aftermarket wheels are simply for the looks, and potential weight saving. But obviously have to be declared for the insurance.

If you’re able to sell them, no harm in that. Tyres are tyres. New ones don’t have to cost an earth either. Put something half decent (for rain/wet weather) and all is well.

To confirm, the wheels are a rare Volvo factory option called Galaxy and usually sell for in excess of £500. The car also has a strut brace and underbody chassis brace.
