Maserati Mc stradale - incredible sound, proper 4 seats (if with) good gt but not the best steer, heavy so poor on track

Lexus lc500 - these are very nice, great interior, good gt, reliabe, descreet but a bit boring tbh
R8 v10- manual - can gt & track quite well, supercar looks, hold value well, reliable, trying to be a supercar but never really feels like one, always feels like a TT that has morphed

I’d go AMG GTC personally (not sure on £60k) even a GTS, very marmite in the looks department though, if you like looks… interior quality & ride as good as the LC, as quick and capable as the R8 but doesnt sound as good as R8 or MC, no seats but decent storage, just shy of 700hp with stage 1 which at 1600kg makes it a pretty good weapon.

If you’ve ever owned or loved TVRs then you’ll love the GT

I couldn’t look past that Noble personally. Looks great.

shortlist feels more occasional weekday, touring rather than weekend. very engine focused.
I'd put the Noble, Evora, newer TVR above them. more of an event, rawness and connectedness over comfort.
Even a V8V would be a contender for looks and noise alone.

I love the Noble (in fact getting one) but from the op post/list of cars i’d say he’s looking for more comfort than track focused, maybe not..

Occasional toy, odd weekend away. Great noise, that’s the list.

Mc stradale would be 2 seat jobbie with the enzo carbon buckets and roll hoop.

It’s subjective, but the R8 V10 in the upper rev ranges is spine-tingling.

That’s where I’d be going with your criteria, otherwise a 991.1 C2S for a do it all car.

I would be looking at the following:

R8 V10 Manual
Lamborghini Gallardo (I have seen higher mileage ones up for £65k)
Ferrari 360
981 GT4 (Higher mileage ones are low 60s now)
Exige V6

I just find the 991's a bit dull. they're a bit 'meh'

All cars I considered. I discounted the R8 and Italians on running costs. I had a GT4 but didn’t think much of it. Now have an Exige.
