What’s going on with this vehicle?

This car was up for about £13k a couple of weeks ago and was in Wigan I think. It disappeared so I assumed it had sold, then it popped up again in Scotland for under £10k…disappeared again the same day I looked, and now it’s up again at another tempting price. What gives? I think I originally saw it as one of ZX10’s picks for a what car thread.

The scammers seem to have slightly altered their modus operandi, I was just looking at some MX-5s which are suspiciously cheap and had the exact same advert text
