Auto Trader used car ad price history app?

Is there such a thing as an app that shows price history for used cars advertised on Auto Trader?

I'm watching a Discovery Sport and I'm sure that the dealer has upped the asking price by £1k this week.

If such an app doesn't exist then maybe someone should develop one.

I'd certainly use it.

The TotalCarCheck app is free, and buried somewhere along with various other bits of information is when and how much the vehicle was advertised for sale on AutoTrader, as well as the mileage recorded at the time.

Not sure about how you can check it, but it would not surprise me if the price had gone up, We have often put prices up depending on the market for the particular car

See if you can find the car on cargurus it will show

Not on CarGurus (sure I've heard of them from somewhere - lol).

TotalCarCheck app indicates that the price hasn't changed.

I like that app - is it worth registering?

How much do they want for a full check (presumably including HPI)?

I'm looking at a Polo Blue GT.... online reviewer said they were £6000 in 2021 and I can't find one below £8,000 and most are £13,000

I'd love just a general historic price graph now in Covid times as I've noticed a few cars have come back down faster than others.... So many headlines about saying used cars are 30% higher than before but I don't even know how realistic this figure is considering I wasnt shopping precovid and during 2021 at all.

Autotrader do have an app but it's only available to contracted dealers,it tells you how long the dealer has had the car in stock along with it's pricing history and like for like comparisons which can make some interesting reading.
