Hi,

I've been looking for a 335d but the prices are all over the place at the moment for a good spec one, I wanted to purchase something upto 3k that I can use for a few months until car prices hopefully drop a bit.

My budget is upto 3k, hopefully auto, not fussy with mileage and spec, just something reliable that I can put 1000 miles a month on till prices stabilise.

Any ideas, I don't mind an estate, MPV, not fussy about mpg as it's only short term.

Thank you

Toyota Avensis, Kia C'eed or one of the large, unpopular Kia or Hyundai saloons. Lots of spec, dirt cheap, reliable, throwaway motoring.

The Merc above is a great shout

If you can stretch your budget another £250 this one do the trick.

All of which are hideous slow shifting automated manuals and not noted for reliability or any semblance of driving pleasure!! The Honda is possibly the worst and all a liability when slow speed manoeuvring.

The E Class above or.

I'd say the C270cdi will come in under budget & soak up 1000 miles with ease:

Or the C220cdi:
