I’m after a cheap car but ULEZ might come soon
Discussion
I live on the border of London Borough and the planned ULEZ Expansion due August 2023 will just miss us but 2 out 3 journeys will take us through it. It’s a year away still but I’m after a cheap family car and not sure if I should get something that’s compliant or a diesel bargain and then get rid of it if the proposed restrictions actually happen. It’s frustrating to say the least, I almost bought a work van before I realised it was non compliant (I do go it to the current ULEZ area for work) so I ended up leasing a new van.
Im just wondering if any of you are weighing up your options

I source vehicles for people & those that are changing are buying compliant diesels, cars like the Infiniti M30d's tend to get snapped up as they are ULEZ/CAZ compliant.

As a result they're no longer cheap but they're still a smart buy.

I am literally four roads into the new proposed ULEZ boundary, so looks like I will have to get rid of the Euro 4 diesel shed by August next year.
Shocked those cars are all compliant, I assumed only 2015 on diesels were.
Hmmmmm, certainly more interesting than the VW UP! I thought I might have to get
