Hello PHers - it’s that time of year where I find myself day dreaming about summer cars. Ideas on the best looking supercar / GT car for under £30k? Preferably one that doesn’t break down at every attempt to get somewhere. Go wild with your imagination, but the more prestigious the better. Pictures would be good too…

I'd love a 5.0 Jaguar XKR (open or coupe).

I think the main parts (engine gearbox) are good on reliability but this is from online reading, not from personal experience.

Some of them will probably be under budget enough to either tune it up or otherwise just enjoy the petrol at £2.00 per litre...

For fun, Boxter 981 or Elise SC

For cruising: Mustang, F-type or XKR convertibles

For looks alone: Cobra or 356 replica

For ruinous running costs: Bentley Continental

For Supercar / GT experience: DB9 (maybe Volante)

All great suggestions! What about beefy GT type cars like the BMW M6 Gran Coupe or Porsche Panamera (63 plate onwards)? The Panamera is growing on me, feel like it wouldn’t look out of place anywhere.

Neither of those are best looking.
