Whats the most you can get off the sticker price at a dealer

On say a 41k car. Iv bought cars privately before and managed to get cars sticking a cheeky offer but never from a dealer... what wouldn't get you kicked out of the show room?

I’ll post EXACTLY what I posted a week ago to another poster asking the same question about a £71k used car…

“ Impossible question is impossible. What is the value relative to other similar vehicles? What’s the market like for these vehicles, do they sell well or are they hard to shift? How long has the car been up for sale?

Lots of variables mean there isn’t a right or wrong answer.”

It’s very much a seller’s market for most vehicles at the moment though, it might simply be the case that they’ll keep the car and sell it to the next punter instead, especially if it’s not been up for sale for long.

You may get more of a chance towards the end of the month IF the dealer has a quota to meet, and your sale would clinch it.
