Petrol estate capable of towing a caravan?

Maybe a bit of a odd one, I have the weekend car now I need a new daily.

Estate
Able to tow a caravan (mrs new bright idea hoping she will get bored of the idea tbh)
30mpg ish
5k but budget is fairly flexible

My shortlist is 330i in e90 shape

I don't own a caravan, but borrowed a mates for a couple of Grand Prix, something to consider, the first year we had an automatic and it was easy, the second year we had a manual, still not hard to be fair, but harder than the auto....something to consider.

That will depend in part on the size/weight of caravan in question.

Regards caravan she’s the one picking that would imagine it would be around 1300kg as that’s what most seem to weigh I think will more than likely be a single axle rather than a twin axle
