Can you list with motorway and Wizzle simultaneously?
Discussion
Evening folks
Selling my Mercedes and both sites give similar values. Is anything stopping me listing it with both?
Carwow(was Wizzle) suggest a reserve of 35900 and motorway is about 33.5k although I gather people often get offered more?
I've submitted pics of the v minor scratches to motorway- carwow don't have an option for extra pics so have described them to them by phone and apparently it doesn't change the valuation.
Any suggestions v handy!

I think there is nothing stopping you although when I sold my car to motorway they did ask for any other adverts for it to be taken down as they said that if you have it for a different price elsewhere it can put off traders apparently.
In my case motorway achieved a price above their estimate and I only had it on ebay but I did leave the ad up while they were selling it and didn't get any issues.

Thanks guys
Carwow asked If I'd listed anywhere else and although I haven't yet I have given motorway all the details and pics today so assume they'd list Tomo.
Not sure now whether I should tell motorway to hang on? just mindful I may get a higher offer from them!! My car tends to list for 39-40k from dealers so I can't see it going higher than 36.

Well I've heard nothing from either today so assume it's not gone live yet.
I had offered it to Saxon 4x4 and they came back with 34750 which isn't bad- they buy from motorway too he said.
Think I'll hang on and see. Carwow didn't ask details about scratches etc whereas motorway did and I declared them. Don't want people turning up and haggling really.

My recent experience with motorway was pretty good. Car went in with a reserve of about 11.5k and sold for almost 13k...
It was listed and sold in about 3 days. Collection was a bit of a pain to organise (just not great comms) but not enough for me to say avoid. No haggling at all. All in all I'd say I got over 1k more than if I did part ex and all without the car leaving the driveway.

List on both. Motorway takes so long to get sorted it’ll be sold on Wizzle before the motorway listing goes live.
Agree. This matches my experience tooIt's just an auction house that offers up stock to dealers, if there's little interest when yours is listed in that model or the market has too many in stock already you'll get nothing.
Have you called around dealers for an offer?

Listed mine on there a few months ago and it never met their reserve which was in turn a bit lower than market. They called and asked if I'd take the highest offer at £1k less than reserve. No ta. Still got the car now.

As suggested I called a couple of dealers. I received an offer of £34750. Motorway came back at £33500 which was pretty much the estimated price.
I was going to go with the independent but when Motorway called back and I told them the price they went back to their top bidder and came back to me to beat the quote at £34800.
It went today- the dealer themselves collected it and were happy the condition was as per my description.
All in all very happy with the process. Motorway took a few days to actually get it live but the contact was much better than carwow- carwow weren't at all clear when it would be listed and I received v little feedback from them.
