What are my options for selling my Jap import MPV? In the past i've used Motorway to sell cars but I don't think they deal with imports. I've tried a couple I found through google searches that promise to reply within 24 hours but that was a week ago now.

Sell it privately? Put the word out in specialist forums?

I see where you're coming from, however if I was looking for a particular import, like an Alphard, I'd definitely be starting on the specialist forums to see if I can avoid my own headache of importing. Perhaps if I was looking for an R34 GTR or similar I'd want to import my own in the hopes that it reduces the odds of it having been giving the F&F treatment by some little scrote wink

Advertise on Autotrader, I'd imagine.

Or otherwise, look on AT at what dealers sell these sort of cars, and contact them to see if they'd be interested. Obviously expect a lower price that way.

Why not pop it on autotrader or eBay? Plenty of imports for sale there.

They do seem to hang around on there for ages though

Why not see what a specialist will give you.

As with any car if they are hanging around for sale for a long time it would suggest the asking price is too high.
