Hi all,

so....despite really fancying a sports car, I've realised I love my Transporter too much and would rather keep that.

with this in mind, our 2nd car is a bit naff and needs to go. We don't want to spend a fortune as tbh, we'd rather have a nicer kitchen than a nicer car.

We're looking for an MPV, 5 seats will be used but a 7 seater would be handy as we have kids junk and a dog cage so space is required.

I've been looking at S-max's, any other suggestions? must be automatic

wanna spend circa £7k, can go up if needed but would prefer to stay about that level.

If you like VW then a Sharan would be another option (or the Seat Alhambra, I believe basically the same car)

Don't be too quick to discount the Mazda, it's not a bad car, plus the sliding door would be more practical with kids, dogs, general crap biggrin

True but we've got a VW caravelle too which is used ALOT so if things get too hectic we'll just take that, it's more a case of having another option if i'm off to the office or whatever, atm the golf can't do the daily jobs and I hate driving the damned thing so I don't want to take it to the office.

I'm sure the Mazda is a decent car but it's bloody ugly and I want it to at least look nice. Don't mind a Alhambra....not sure I could drive a sharon though.... know too many sharons and they're all Pr**ks hahaha

A little bit left field and an import, but the Honda Odyssey is fairly rare, decent enough looking and should be easy on the wallet.

There's also the Elysion and Stepwagon but both a more van looking.
