Infiniti Q60

I am thinking of buying an Infiniti Q60, but there seem to be very few in the UK. Does anyone know how many were sold and if it is even worth trying to find one?

A lot of the reviews I have read don't seem to be overly positive, not sure if anyone here has any experience owning one?

It's the two-door version of the Q50 saloon, being the export version of the V37 JDM Skyline. If you were happy with a four-door equivalent, that would open things up slightly.

I sat in one such Skyline in a showroom yesterday, felt pretty good inside to me, seats comfortable etc. Not bang up to date, but a nice place to be. Haven't driven one tho.

On the driving dynamics, my understanding is that it's a basically decent platform - an evolution of that underpinning the 350/370Z and R35 - but some of the "clever" extras such as the computer-mediated steering and/or hybrid system undermine the driver's connection to the road. So potentially one with the 'right' spec should drive pretty ok.

The V6 turbo is the same basic engine as is going into the new 400Z, so should be pretty decent.

Would you be looking at the 2.0 or the 3.0?

I always think that at 20k for the 2.0 I'd be thinking what 4 series coupe I could get for that.

I've supplied a few of these (& have family members with Q50/Q30/QX70 etc) over the years in both 3.0TT & 2.0T in both Q50 & Q60 form they're good cars, not an out & out drivers car but if you want a smart well priced coupe the yes they're well worth a look.

Thank you for the replies, I was looking for the 3 litre model, the 2 litre model seems to have average to bad reviews mainly because of the poor performance.

I can't seem to find any for sale at the moment in the UK, but there are loads in the US. Were the UK cars right hand drive or were they imported left hand drive models?

They all RHD but they didn't sell well there was a 3.0TT Q60 for sale earlier this week but it's gone but there is a a 3.0TT Q50 for sale:

I have an infiniti, although not a Q, the build quality is exceptional. The car has toys and toys on top of toys. Running costs are higher than a more popular similar, but worth it.
