Anyone used these & if so would you use again?
Ran some numbers through the website & the savings looked surprisingly strong.
Delivery time seems Aug/Sept, but I can live with that.
Thinking of ordering stock car no options apart from a spare wheel to avoid/reduce the chip & other delays smile

Used them in 2015 for a focus st, great price and smooth transaction.

Been looking at their fiesta st deals recently

Cheers, thanks for the info.
With nearly new prices at or above retail seems a good option to go brand new with healthy discount.
I was unsure about the terms of the deal re if you don’t take the financial incentive you pay £1k more but numbers too good.

I just took my best deal from DTD or coast2coast or any of the brokers who gave me the best price and gave it to my preferred dealer who matched it.

And as you say, buying new was cheaper than used

Different dealers, back in 2015 my local ford dealer wouldn’t budge. Was 6k more expensive!

Is this recently?
The DTD offer is £3.8k cheaper than my local Ford dealer, who’s deals were or selected cars.

About 3 weeks ago when I ordered my rs6. Best discount for me was coast2coastcars. I used carwow to get the best discount there first direct from a dealer. Picked the best one who was willing to negotiate and sent the the written quote from c2c and ended up 6.5k off list and direct from them.

...2023? 2024? Quoted delivery times are usually not contractual and often 'slip', sometimes by a lot!

You may want to check you have the right to cancel if the car is not delivered by a certain date of your choosing

2022, will enquire about right to cancel.
Deliberately ordered car with no packs that are on back order etc.

Yes good call. Ditto upgraded stereos which can be problematic

If the deal is dependant on taking finance (as many are), just take the finance and when you collect the car, call the finance company and pay it off. (Assuming you don't want/need the finance) You have a 14 day cooling off period so no issues. I've done it twice.

I've used coast2coast cars for my old M135i. I tend to look on Carwow, DTD and C2C and see what comes out cheapest. DTD was the best when I looked into a Marco Polo camper but I didn't sign up in the end.

I have done this twice as well and one of the times was a drive the deal purchase of a focus st.

I suspect the original poster is looking at fiesta st deals from the level of discount he mentioned

I bought a Merc through DTD last year, very easy but it was through the fleet sales side of the dealer so no showroom or other frills and was it was driven delivery. Suited me though and well worth the 16% discount. I would use them again.

Drive the deal have some good prices on new Seat Leon’s

Question is, they are offering an extra £750 for cash buyers if you or anyone in the household currently owns a seat.

Will that include any VAG car to qualify or are they strictly Seat badge only?
It’s a Seat UK thing, just wondering how strict they are.

The £750 off is a deal breaker, tried speaking to a local Seat dealer but not heard back from sales team.

Drive the deal chap is friendly. If you submit your details for a quote he’ll call you back and will know the details of the SEAT promotion

I’ve used DTD a couple of times. Always a good experience

I’m in the market for a new VW. I’d prefer a factory order to get the spec I want.

VW configurator says 55k. I have a DtD quite of almost 9k less. DtD says 4k of this discount is a finance dependent deposit contribution, so without finance the discount is 5k.

I’d rather pay upfront, I don’t want to finance, however 4k is a lot of cash. If I sign up then withdraw within the cooling off period then when would I have to pay the full balance? Would it be immediately to the finance company or when I receive the car? If it’s a factory order then delivery could take several months, if I have to pay immediately I’d be paying for something I haven’t received?

Also does anyone know when would the finance agreement cooling off period start? When I sign up for the finance or when I receive the vehicle?

We paid one instalment then asked for a settlement figure and paid it all of then.

This was with Toyota Finance
