10k Budget Vehicle Suggestions
Discussion
Hi all,
I am in a bit of a dilemma, I have an E46 330i Sport Auto, mileage is fairly low and I have done a few bits and pieces to the car to improve it. I am at a point where there is not much more I would want to do to the car, the prices have gone up so much I am wondering whether to sell and move onto something new.
Ideally I am looking for the following:
- Auto (not a deal breaker)
- Turbo (not a deal breaker)
- Under 10k
- Tax under £500 per year
- Year 2008 or newer (mine is a 2002 plate so would prefer to get something a little newer)
- Under 70k miles (unless the engines are known to be pretty bullet proof)
Bonus points for something with a sub 6/7 second 0-60
Interested to hear others opinions!
Thanks!

How much of a BMW fan are you?
Just wondering because I haven't been without one for 16 years!
Currently have a 55 plate E90 330i daily that cost less than half you budget but I didn't want a turbo or an auto, and it has done 115K miles.
Maybe an auto E90 335i would tick all your boxes?

Hi Mr Tidy,
An E90 335i has been pretty prominent in my shortlist I must say, the only thing that puts me off is that the E90 seems massive compared to the E46 and I wonder if it might feel a little more barge-like.... I should really give one a go to see.
With the 335i, am I right in thinking there are 2 different types of turbos and one is to be avoided?

This has 335i in Highline M Sport spec written all over it:
