Stop Gap Car

Im needing a car temporarily for a couple of months. I've found a reasonably priced Citroen C2 code locally. Not had one of these before, a sensible choice for a temporary car? Or one to avoid?

I'd just pop the reg into MOT check and have a look at it's MOT history. This is often a good way to get an idea on how hard a cars life has been.

They're decent robust cars, as above check the MOT/service history (receipts) & ask when the cambelt was changed.

I’d be wary of any seller who says this. As soon as you purchase a new car it has to be taxed before you can drive it.

With cheap cars, the people selling them can tell you just as much as the car itself…

On the face of it seems a sweet enough little car - I guess (as always) it all depends on price and risk appetite

I like the interior!
There's not much to go expensively wrong. Make sure the belts have been done and there service history is ok. Check there is no rust or accident damage and there are no leaks in the engine bay.
Looks like a nice run about tbh.

Thanks for the input guys. Decided against this and bough a diesel Fabia instead (I've stuck a RR thread up)!
