Car buying suggestions - with a twist!
Discussion
Morning all,
first post from a new account from me (lost old login details!!)
anyhooo - moving from the UK to North Carolina in the US (there is the twist) and find myself with a little free cash left over for something fun!
Budget is about $30-40k with $3-4k a year to run it with. This will be the first play car I have had in a loooooong time, so I would like something that is not going to be ruinous (both financially and mentally) to run.
Happy to look at any drivetrain, but US driving lends itself to something auto.
Guess I will be doing between 5-10k a year - so a classic is not out of the question either
Coupe or convertible.
Candidates so far seem to be :
2015ish Jag F-Type S
2010-12 Maserati GranTurismo (this may fall into the ruinous bracket?)
I have looked at newer American muscle (Mustang, Challenger, Camaro) but I am always left a little cold by the interiors....
Over to you guys - any suggestions and ideas gratefully received
SB.
