Hello

After owning lots of small engine and turbo cars I'm on the look out for a NA V6 or V8 coupe, preferably manual.

I've creates a short list but I just can't decide!

BMW Z4M Coupe
BMW M3 E92
BMW M3 E46
Lotus Exige S3
Jaguar F type V8
TVR Griffith 500
Audi R8

All very different cars but match the brief!

I won't do many miles and don't need it to be practical

Any thoughts on the above other other suggestions would be great

Thanks in advance

Some nice cars on that list.

I'd add a W204 C63 507 to it.

Much less than budget, but monaro. It's a bit low rent but the LS2 makes up for it...

I would imagine the Griff.and Exige would require far more attention than the others.

From Lotus, the Evora would presumably be more comparable with the other cars on your list?

Aston Martin Vantage V8
Maserati GranTurismo
Ford Mustang
BMW M6
Corvette C6

Not strictly a vee engine, but could get a non-chocolate-engined 911 or Cayman for that.

35k gets the modern Granturismo Sport
Sweet spot for the model and one of the best sounding engines there is

Thanks all some nice suggestions these.

The gran turismo is very appealing, looks and sounds amazing I just worry about maintenance costs and also it's a bit long so would only for in my garage at an angle so could be a pain.

If you're after a weekend sunshine toy, go for a Griffiths or Tuscan.
Otherwise the Gran Tourismo, V8V or R8.

The maintenance cost on the GT shouldn't be too much more than the others on the list.
The TVRs will probably be the least expensive as there will be little depreciation. However niggly things may make daily journeys tedious. but as a occasion, their fantastic.

Get a car you’d look back at once you’ve parked it up !

E92 M3 with the lowest miles you can find and then pocket the change for a sports motorcycle that will re-define what you think is fast.

Some really interesting choices, thanks all

There are so many options its hard to choose!

Many of them come down to the looks which I'm quite picky about.

R8 is very appealing

E92 M3 also very appealing and seem a bit under valued?

Nissan GTR too fat and I don't like the look

Evora is tempted but could get an Exige for similar money.

Mustang is also but I'd worry about resale as I thought they depreciated badly?

It has to be a car that has stopped depreciating really
