Audi RS4 Avant versus Macan GTS as a driver's car?

has anybody driven both of these things within the last few years? I am aware of all their various differences as vehicles, but am after information regarding the one which drives best on lumpy twisty (and perhaps wet) stuff with some enthusiasm! No dogs will be harmed in the result.
So I would love to hear from people with direct experience of both machines

Not driven the Macan, but I do own a B9 RS4 (and my wife has a B9 RS5, that actually came first). It's a fantastic car to live with, but more of a GT than a B road blaster.
The engine is great - light years ahead of the old V8, and both cars both seem to report sub-4 0-60 when the various publications strap timing gear to them. Top speed is apparently 178. Fast enough.
The gearbox is slightly lazier than you might expect, but I think it suits the character of the car.
Handling is excellent, especially with the sport pack that gives you LSDs. It will go sideways but it'll never be a drift machine. Just very surefooted. Brakes are powerful, and repeatable, as you'd expect.
It isn't 'exciting' in the BMW sense, in that it isn't needlessly twitchy, nor is it unnecessarily hard and noisy.
Means four figure distances are a pleasure, not a chore .
If you want a mile muncher that'll quite happily spend days blasting across Europe whilst 4 up with luggage at speeds that'll see you marched to the nearest cash point at gunpoint, it's a great car. If you want a track beast that'll shake your teeth out and is only useable for an hour at a time, this isn't the car for you.
