New car recommendations

I've been thinking for a while of getting a car to replace my 2010 Astra H SRI, I'm a bit stuck on what I actually want.

Two cars spring to mind as a great upgrade - An Astra J VXR or a Corsa VXR or Nurburgring. I know, I know, Vauxhall.

I'm not particularlly bothered about power or badge - I'm after the better driving experience around the narrow country lanes around here, the odd track day around Cadwell and the odd trip to France. Other problem is I'm 31, so don't want to look like an ageing boy racer.

If anyone has any other recommenations, great

I had the 1.4 170 version with the TCT and that was plenty fun enough so the 1750 would be so so much better.

I always fancied a GTC VXR though every time I have went to buy a car but none have been available at the time.

Still look brilliant especially in blue!
