Sold my car via Motorway, sale agreed, but a change in circumstances.

Garage are happy to not follow through and leave it.

Will Motorway pursue me for a fee.

Thanks

Have you signed an agreement? If so, what are the cancellation terms of any such agreement?

I dealt with motorway when trading in my A1 - long story short, I don’t think Motorway would charge you a fee if the dealer’s fine with it.

Long story long - got an offer and a scheduled pickup that I was happy with from them, but 3 days before I was meant to pick up my new car they said they’d written down the service history wrong and so the price would be lower. I was quite pissed off but said fine as long as my car would be gone before the new one came, a new price was agreed with the dealer, but then they were being such a pain in the a**e about arranging collection I cancelled it. No fee charged.

Hope it works out well for you!

I haven’t put pen to paper.

In the terms and conditions they take no responsibility for sale etc etc. So assume there isn’t a fee.

Thank you.

Ouch! I guess at that point the original sale was void. Dealer seems fine so will have to speak with them Monday.

Thanks

Sold my car via carwow which also use Car buying group a few weeks ago. Don't recall seeing anything about a fee.

Kinda convinced they had book price on my car wrong as it was £600ish back in July offer... and the other week £2000. Happy to take it though!
