Cars with front passenger seats that fold forwards?
Discussion
I sometimes have to carry long loads inside the car - "grandfather" clocks.
I have 2 cars now, a Skoda Superb estate, and a Kia Picanto.
The Kia is great for local deliveries, but obviously no use at all for carrying bigger clocks.
The Superb is OK for most loads, but there's still no easy way to fit a grandfather case inside. I have to remove the passenger headrest, recline the seat backwards as far as it will go, cover the top of the seat with a blanket, and jiggle the case up and over it.
Things would be so much easier with a medium-sized car where the front passenger seat folded forwards to create a long, flat, load area.
Problem is, it's not something that seems to all that common, and road tests/brochures don't really go into this kind of detail.
Some French cars have this as standard - Peugeot Rifter, Citroen Berlingo and possibly the C3 Aircross.
I've read that the Zafira and B-Max have this option, but the B-Max is too small, and I really don't want a Vauxhall.
Ideally, I want something with reasonable performance, up to 2 years old, and a bit smaller/cheaper to run than the Superb 280.
I don't want a van, as this will also be used for longer trips, so has to reasonably refined.
What else is out there with a fold-flat front passenger seat?

I can confirm that the P2 Volvo V70 (2000-2007) have a passenger seat that folds flat.
I own the very same car and last year I drove to Wakefield to collect 60-odd 2.4m lengths of pine floorboard. I folded the front passenger seat flat and the car swallowed them with ease. The rear seat directly behind the front passenger seat folds independently, so I even had my twin boys in the remaining rear seats.
