BMW E61 - what alternatives should I look at? £5Kish
Discussion
Hi,
I currently run an E91 320d estate but could do with a bit more space. The obvious change is just to move into a 5 series.
Anything else worth looking at?
I've had 3 audis and the later ones were a pain for suspension arms failing every time you look at them.
Mercs of the age I'd be looking at worry me in terms of poor quality/high costs.
Anything else I should think about?
thx

Poor quality in terms of the Mercedes? The cars you'll be looking at for your budget were well past their rust issues as for reliability the W211 E Class is bullet proof.

OK, I'll look into merc again then. I wasn't sure about them because of the rust/sub-frames/injectors but if thats all out of the way...thanks
