Bargain eBay topless impulse purchase

Got stuck on the east coast mainline yesterday for 6hrs and whilst browsing cheap cars came across a 2002 02 plate megane cab for £350 BIN, but accepting offers with only 15mins to go, punted an offer I expected to be refused at £275 and it was accepted

Had half a dozen of these and a few coupes as well granted a few years ago but for a cheap convertible for the summer ... bargain!

Collect it on Friday I think

Bargain - is that a leather interior? I'd be interested in reading how this turns out - are you going to start a Reader's Car thread?

Yeah full leather, the only real option it's missing is the TPMS which in my experience with these is a ball ache

Could do a readers cars on this little bargain, hadn't thought about it tbh! Haha

Collected today and drove back the 80ish miles and drives perfectly... it has a full Renault service history, 11mths MOT, recent timing and aux belt change (incl. water and aux pump) plus discs and pads all round ... and a huge load of receipts incl the original bill of sale ... all for £275!

Leathers seen better days but a feed and dye will sort it out! Bumpers could do with reseating and need a little some touching up ... and the last picture shows what I think is an old RAC TrafficMaster voice system that I need to figure out how to remove !!
