Salesman says it will be cleared once we pay for the car.

Big brand dealer and this is a dealer demo car and not off the second hand/part ex lot, very low miles and 5 months old, ticks most boxes etc. good warranty time left. Already agreed to buy but forgot to clear this nugget up.

Standard practice for garages with demo cars?

Not got it yet, obviously.

Stock funding. Quite common I think.

Yup, most brands will have a funding plan specifically for dealer demo cars so it is nothing to worry about. If you really want to be sure when you drive away just ask the dealer for confirmation of appropriation.

Cheers. Confirmation of Appropriation then. Thanks all.

It is a business finance when checked with HPI, I assumed it was OK but did not know for sure.
