I mean for starters the owner is a massive racist if you read the full description but honestly i can't understand why it's so cheap?

A colleague at work is looking at getting it but he's asking for my advice but i don't know what i can tell him as it seems to tick all the right boxes.

Think he's referring to the 'DO NOT RING UNLESS YOU SPEAK THE QUEENS ENGLISH' part!

She has had a row with her husband/boyfriend, and after cutting up his suits she is trying to sell his car while he is away?

She does give a X at the end though, always nice to see in a car ad...

It's xenophobic rather than racist.

I wondered about something like this too. Either that, or a scam of some kind. One thing seems clear to me - it isn't a normal ad!

Perhaps she just wants a quick sale. I agree it seems suspicious and she does seem keen to point out how clean it is. But, if she's nearby - where's the harm?

As for stating that people must speak "the queen's English" - while it may be a bit rude, I think it makes the car-selling process easier if you can communicate more easily and aren't called by people just attempting to scam you. Doesn't make her as very appealing though, I'll admit

I'd ask her if she can't even use the Queen's English properly, how can she demand that only people who speak it phone up.

she has spelt warranty wrong, twice smile

I especially like the part about no viewings after 6pm as it gets dark and you know, she is a woman...amazing & pretty sure 99% of women, wouldn't write that, they are allowed out in the dark, apparently.

I'm convinced it's a stolen car or on stolen plates...

Have half a mind to give her a ring, discuss the car then just correct her spelling and hang up smile

Apparently not. It also transpires that black/brown people, (other colours are available) or people from other countries can't speak the queen's english.

It's all very confusing.

Neither can most of the population of Doncaster, to be fair. "Queen's English" isn't really spoken by anyone other than her Maj.

Is that your view, or are you just projecting that on to the advertiser?

She could just as easily be referring to white British people who use "like" in every sentence, and think the car is "wicked", "sick" or "dope".
