I've been having a preliminary trawl round Autotrader for a 'new' vehicle, but have been struck by how many adverts list only a mobile contact number (or two!). I suppose I'm just a little old-fashioned, but would other PHers still like to see a landline number as well?

Call me cynical, but a good way to avoid pesky warranty work is to switch sim every few weeks.

Of course, I'm sure traders only avoid the cost of landlines so they can pass the saving onto you, the customer, and to make sure they can take your call at any time of the day.

Probably a lot of "trade from home" types - bought a couple of cars that way of late - all fine, but I do ownder why these ppl dont use an online service to have landline "online" number routed to their mobile (must lose business over it)
