Anyone owned one of these by any chance, or could shed any light on them? I may be going to view one soon (£10,500, 43k miles, 2012 and a full audi service history etc), it looks tidy but it's kind of a detour from the cars I was looking at before so my research has got to be squeezed in faster than normal. Anyone got any experiences that would be great!

I own a 2009 model with 84k on clock.

Not really any different from yours. The only weakness I know if is the timing chain tensioner failing, it's not as common as the internet would suggest, but the 2012 model should have the upgraded redesigned part.

Only real issue I've had with mine was a leaky water pump and sticky thermostat (thermostat is in the water pump assembly), it was on the original after 80k, cost me 300 quid to replace with upgraded part.

Engine pulls well. In summer I was getting real world 31mpg doing short journeys, winter I've been getting about 27mpg but doing really short journeys and flooring it more often. High 30s real world on a motorway run, could see 42+ real world.

Good car all in all. Actually selling mine as I need a bigger motor for 2 step kids and a baby. Message me if u might be interested, nowt up with my car and it would save us a huge wad of cash.

I'd be interested to see pictures of yours and get a few details etc 100%. Everything you've said sounds pretty good there too!

Does anyone have any idea of what specifically to look for on this car when I go and view it?

It's got a full Audi history (I've already seen the paperwork) and it's had 2 owners, this current owner has had the car since 2014. It's on a new mot and is owned by a family man in a nice area who's selling it due to buying a new car so it's all checking out and looking good at the moment.
