Alternatives to a Mk7 Fiesta ST costing 5k~?

I'm weighing up whether to survive my Gen 7 Celica a bit longer and save a few grand up for a 2013-4 Fiesta ST, or look for something I can afford in the 5k region.

I really like the idea of a hot hatch that has modern stuff like cruise, keyless, front window defogging button and a bit of poke - got to park on a tight street so the size is ideal too. Same reason puts me off leasing since I can't put it off street. Can I get close to this in an older 5k region car?

FF 182 is probably the nearest thing to it!

An FN2 type R will be close to that budget and a GT model will have all the spec but won't be quite as good to drive.
