Le Mans Challenge - Car and Theme Ideas

So me and a group of mates are going to Le Mans this year for the second time and also doing a road trip around northern Europe. We do it like a top gear challenge and have a 500 quid maximum budget for the car (Not including service or MOT).
Just looking for some ideas of what car to take and potentially a funny theme (see last years VW Gulf below).

Rules

• Needs to cost less than £500
• Needs to comfortably fit 3 not so small blokes in
• Preferably rear wheel drive
• Preferably with a bit of poke
• Needs to be reliable enough to do 2400 miles in two weeks

Any ideas would be much appreciated
