Just trying to dig around for the best and easiest way to sell a car as it's something I've not done before or for any advice on offwem
Thanks in advance

Generally speaking, internet-based car buying services will give you less than your car is worth, which you may or may not want to take, depending on how you feel about advertising the car yourself.

Top money will be achieved by giving the car a damn good clean inside and out, taking lots of nice pictures of the vehicle (at least 10-12), and authoring an informative and well-written advert.

Best places to put said masterpiece of an advert are Auto Trader (www.autotrader.co.uk), eBay Motors Classifieds (www.ebay.co.uk) and Gumtree (www.gumtree.co.uk). You could even try advertising the car locally (newsagent window, local paper, etc.)

The good news is you can copy and paste the work you've already done for one advert, and re-use all the pictures you took.

The downside with this approach is the need to deal with tyre-kickers, dreamers and other assembled idiots.

If the car is as nice as you say it is (and I have no reason to believe it's not!), it should sell pretty quickly, though you should brace yourself for timewasters - there will be a few!
