Car shuffle, auctions worth it?

Time to re-shuffle the cars.

Looking to buy a 2010-13 20d X3 and a 986 Boxster S.

It it worth looking at auctions for the BMW- BCA Blackbushe or Bridgwater would be the closest, I would prefer the manual and don't mind higher miles... Or is the saving offset by the higher punter fees?

always found blackbushe very expensive to buy as a private buyer - buyers fees are high and often see cars going through at higher prices than autotrader.

used to be a great place to purchase 10+ years ago - not anymore but they do do a great cooked breakfast in the canteen!
