Recently bought an Audi A3 2.0t with the DSG box that has been nothing but problems for me since I got it so once I've got it repaired I'm getting rid as it's just annoyed me to no end.

The problem is, I don't know what to replace it with as the car is perfect for me. It's fast, comfortable and has a very nice interior, I just can't live with this one much longer at all.

My requirements are
- Up to £4000
- Fast (the A3 is my first 'quick' car so don't want to downgrade really)
- Good standard stereo, the A3 came with Bose which is really good
- A nice interior

The only things I can come up with at the moment are another A3, an A4 Avant or some sort of BMW 330 but my mind goes completely blank whenever I try and think of anything else.. Please give me options!

Thanks smile

I have seen a few pop up within my budget and I really like the tartan seats some of them come with, if the right one came up I'd definitely go have a look I just don't know much about them!

hehe If the seat cover is your most important criterion then you'll be fine!

Seriously though, there will be a spec to meet your needs

Is it the gearbox that's been the problem because if it is then why not get a manual version.

Or what about a 3.2 Manual A3 250bhp 3.2 N/A unit so a lot less potential issues than a turbo unit.

Sorry I worded that terribly hehe I mean the car has been endless trouble I absolutely love the gearbox! I did look at the 3.2 before I got this one but the insurance was quite a bit more but I am only 20 though!

I've noticed a couple of Corsa VXRs in my budget, are they any good? There's one for sale at a car sales place down the road and I might have a look at it today to see what the interior is like and maybe have a small test drive.

Make sure it's not remapped, get it in 6th gear with no talking and the radio off and listen for bearings rumbling. Also check all 4 fan speeds work on the heater.
