Afternoon all.
I am thinking of buying a fun two seater car for weekends etc, that doesn't cost fortune to run.
I am currently considering 3 options.
1. MGB roadster or GT
2. Mazda MX5 mk1 1.6
3. BMW Z4 either 2.5 or 3.0 ( though I think that this will be expensive!)
Are there anything else I should consider? I would be interested to hear your views
Many thanks
Philip

The Z3 is fun to drive. Also MR2 or if you can push your budget a little an Elise.

Do you intend to drive it hard?

Thank you very much everyone for the suggestions. I didn't realise that TVRs were within reach. The Mercedes were a good call, I thought they were just autos. Not sure about the trike though!.
Thanks again for your help, please keep ideas coming smile

How about something left field? People who've not driven them might mock, but a good Smart Roadster is a lot of fun.

Cheap to run (if not to fix, buy carefully) and a unique experience to make it a nice change from your daily.
